Antoine Blanchard ( 1910- 1988)

Born in France near the banks of the Loire, Blanchard went on to study sculpture and drawing at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. He later competed for the Prix de Rome. Served in World War II. Most of Blanchard's work is centered around Parisian street scenes. Very popular painter in the Paris School.
