Lot 155. A Cuyahoga River scene. Charcoal drawing on illustration board, signed in the lower right corner, framed in a simple black wood frame, 13" x 17" board size, with framing overall 14-1/4" x 18-1/2". A strong composition of a scene in Cleveland, Ohio, with an oar boat in the left foreground on the Cuyahoga River, with the bridge spanning the composition and a lift bridge in the middle ground. Silhouetted against the distant sky is the Terminal Tower, landmark of Cleveland's Public Square built in 1928-1929.
