Lot 1. A portrait of an ermine-robed lady with a lamb; a palm frond can be seen to the left. Oil on canvas, no signature found, approx. 34" x 28", with hand carved gold leafed frame overall 38" x 35". The frame is hand signed on the back by the maker, Phillip N. Yates. Painting comes from a Gates Mills Ohio estate.
