Lot 186. "The Projectionist's Dream". Oil on canvas, signed and dated 1988 lower right, as well as on verso. Canvas measures approx. 22" x 30", in a gilt wood frame overall approx. 27" x 35". A movie projectionist is seen through the small opening to his projection booth while an usherette rests against a railing in the balcony. Coils of film float about indicating the dream quality of this vivid composition. The artist has titled and signed the canvas on the tacking margin on verso.
