Lot 68. This detailed painting by Wisconsin-based artist Larry Elliott is an homage to childhood. Entitled "Rabbits, Elliot combines several images of bunnies, one chocolate, one from Albrecht Durer's illustrations and one well-loved stuffed bunny with the figures of Dorothy and Toto from the classic children's movie, "The Wizard of Oz". These items are strewn about a grassy background. Signed "Elliott" in a banner on the right side. Oil on panel. Panel measures apprx 14" x 11". Framed this painting measures apprx 18-1/2" x 16". Verso of painting has two gallery tags, one from Campanile Galleries in Chicago and one from R. H. Love Galleries in Chicago.
