Lot 58. Portrait of a Gentleman. Oil on canvas, signed middle left "E.Aufray" and dated 1888. Canvas apprx 25-3/4"H x 21-1/2"W. Overall with gilt frame apprx 31"H x 27"W. Most likely a commissioned portrait for a church, the gentleman has an ermine cuff and wearing a figured medallion, possibly a momento of a brotherhood or crusade.
