Lot 152. Watercolor painting by American artist Frederico Yost is entitled "New York Philharmonic" and is dated 1967. Yost emigrated to Ohio in the 19th Century and studied also at the Art Student's League with the artists Robert Henri and John Sloan. This painting depicts a piano player and a large orchestra conducted by a man in a suit with tails. Signed "Frederico Yost" in the lower right corner. Image measures apprx 20-1/2" x 17". Overall size is apprx 21-1/2" x 18".

The painting has vivid shades of yellow, blue and green. Yost emigrated to Ohio in the 19th Century and also studied at the Art Student's League with the artists Robert Henri and John Sloan. Image size is apprx 116-1/2" x 14-1/2". Framed this piece measures apprx 18-1/2" x 16-1/2".

This watercolor depicts a Mexican cantina band. This painting has vibrant colors including bright greens, tropical yellows and lush blues. Overall, with frame this piece measures apprx 17" H x 17" W. Tag on verso indicates that Yost was a pupil of Robert Henri and John Sloan.
