Lot 108. Oil on masonite painting by American artist Corrine McGeorge features a forest landscape with stream. McGeorge was a student of the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her landscape painting depicts a lush forest with an azure sky peeking from between the canopy of heavy green leaves. A bubbling stream flows through the woodsy landscape. Signed in lower right. Masonite measures apprx 21" H x 15" W. With silver painted wood frame this painting measures apprx 25" H x 19" W. This painting is dated c. 1950. Verso features tag from the Bonfoey Picture Framing Co. in Cleveland.
