Lot 96. Engraving executed by Mariette in three vertical registers depicts small putti, sybils, leaves, feathers and various architectural adornments. Pierre Mariette (and later his son) had a printshop in the "Rue St Jacques" in Paris, under the sign of "L'esperance" (hope). Size of image is apprx 6-1/2" x 9". Signed "Mariette, ex." in lower right corner. This image was published by Mariette c.17th Century.
