Lot 175. Vintage original lithographic poster advertising Bally shoes. Villemot's bold colors and minimal text is characteristic of his advertisements for Air France, Orangina, Perrier and Bally shoes. Villemot is considered a modern master of poster design. This poster for Bally shoes, entitled "Ball" features a simple black and red background divided by the figure of a woman kicking up her legs. This poster measures apprx 67" x 47" and is dated c. 1980. Signed "Villemot" in upper right corner.
