Lot 141. "The Home Of A Wharf Rat". Watercolor on paper. City skyline is visible in the distance. Signed "R. McLellan, 1937" in lower right corner. Image measures apprx 8-1/2" x 11". Overall measures apprx 17" x 20". McLellan exhibited extensively at the National Academy of Design, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Later in his life he taught life drawing and painting at the Pennsylvania Museum and School of Industrial Art in Philadelphia.
