Lot 64. "Grouse Flushing Up Ashfell". Oil on canvas, signed and dated '48 in the lower left corner of the canvas, framed in a Barbizn-style frame with a nameplate on the lower center, canvas size approx. 20-1/4" x 24-1/2", with frame overall approx. 25" x 29-1/4". There is a label on the back of the dust cover from The Bonfoey Company, Cleveland, Ohio and the remnants of a label from Frost and Reed on the back of the stretcher.
