Lot 22. "The Artists Tools", oil on canvas, signed in the engraving at lower left of circle. Period frame, canvas size apprx 24-1/2" x 19". A trompel'oiel painting of the artists' tools, also known as a "board painting" or "rack picture". This lot remained in a private collection in Long Island until 1920.
