Lot 33. A view of Lyon, "The Bridge", oil on canvas, signed lower left, titled and dated 1855 on verso tag. Depicts a city scene with a bridge and boats beneath. Painting measures apprx 18" x 29". A similar painting exists, however in watercolor and produced a year earlier. This shows the Palais du Justice on the banks of the river Saone with the towers of the Cathedral of St. John in the distance. Signature can not be found.
