Lot 35. Beautiful country landscape with bridge and mountains, oil on canvas, simple gold frame, signed lower left, apprx image size 11" x 19", apprx frame size 14-1/2" x 22-1/2". Grandnephew of Alexander Viets Griswold, Griswold was born in Delaware, Ohio in 1834 around 1850. His only instruction in painting was from an elder brother.
