Lot 40. "Perthshire Hills" a gorgeous landscape in original frame, oil on canvas, signed lower right, apprx image size 18" x 22", apprx frame size 26" x 30". Exhibition tag on verso, "F.G.No. 27494 Perthshire Hills D.Y. Cameron". Cameron studied at the Glasgow School of Art where he produced his earliest etchings under the influence of Charles Meryon. After he returned to his homeland after a tour, he concentrated on capturing the spirit of the Scottish rural landscape, such as this painting.
