Lot 41. "View of Mt. Toro". Oil on canvas, signed lower left. Canvas approx. 10" x 14", overall with frame approx. 13-3/4" x 17-3/4". A noted California artist and impressionist landscape painter, he is mostly known for his coastal scenes of the Monterey Peninsula. Associate of the National Academy of Design in 1930, his memberships include; California Art Club, Carmel Art Association, Laguna Beach Art Association, Bohemian Club, San Francisco, and Salmagundi Club, New York.
