Lot 66. Erotica. Oil on panel, signed lower right and dated 69. Image approx. 23-3/4" x 30-1/2". Overall in contemporary framing with wire hanger, approx. 27-1/4" x 33-3/4". Known for his bright and colorful paintings of famous sports stars in a semi-abstract style, LeRoy Neiman is one of the 20th Century's most successful illustrators. Provenance: Through descent; the painting was given to a fellow New York painter/artist as a gift. Painting is not accompanied with gallery papers or receipts.
