Lot 32. Oil on canvas, signed lower right. Verso with Hungarian export stamp. Canvas apprx 21-1/2" x 27", with painted black frame apprx 26-3/4" x 33". Zorkoczy studied at the School of Model Drawing where he obtained a diploma in art teaching. His master was Bertalan Szekely. From 1907 on he exhibited naturalistic landscapes in the Art Gallery and the National Salon.
