Lot 38. "Vizparcon". Oil on canvas, signed lower right and dated 1965. Unframed, on keyed stretcher. Verso also signed with Hungarian export stamp. Apprx 24" x 31-1/2". Lipot studied at the Mintarajz School under Ede Ball, Lszl Hegeds and Tivadar Zemplnyi. He won the Munkcsy Prize, and he is considered a well respected and talented artist. His work was often exhibited, particularly at the Ernst Museum in Budapest.
