Lot 55. "Marksburg." Oil on canvas, signed and titled "Finn Wennerwald, Marksburg" on the lower right corner. Image size approx. 27-1/2" x 37-3/4". Finn Wennerwald is a well-listed Danish artist. His father Emil was the major influence in Finn's artistic life. He was also an educated drawing teacher and taught lessons from 1929-43. He traveled in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Norway, and he held one-man exhibitions in all of these countries. He has exhibited widely in Copenhagen and other parts of Denmark.
