Jacques Eitel was born in 1926 in Paris, From his earliest childhood, his godfather, fashion designer Eugene Hullot, took him to frequent the ateliers of the artists Narbonne and Ferdinand Renault as well as the Grand Palais Salons. Eitel's work evokes dreams with great force in which landscapes are stage effects in a harmonious theatrical manner.
