Lot 87. "Campus". Oil on board, framed. Nina F. Martino is a contemporary artist from Pennsylvania, best known for her urban landscapes, and member of a family of painters of note. Item features scene of a lush park with geese and a pair of figures. Painting style is soft and overall tone is cool. Signed on lower left corner. Painting measures 11-1/4" x 15-1/4". Framed with linen mat and a painted wood frame. Verso is lined with black paper and bears tag with painting information and a "Creative Framing" label. Overall the piece measures apprx 15-3/4" x 20".

Lot 125. Untitled street scene. Oil on board, signed "Nina B. Martino" on the lower right corner. In a decorative frame. Image size approx. 9-3/4" x 15-5/8", framed overall approx. 17" x 22-3/4". Nina Martino's work is super representational, mainly oil landscapes of surrounding Philadelphia areas, where she paints on location and later enlarges the small studies into oil paintings on canvas or processed panel in her studio. Martino's landscapes are simplified, compositional interpretations, concentrating on strong contrast with contemporary settings. She has won numerous awards, international mural and painting commissions and is included in museums and private collections.
