The architecture and structure of the boat house lend important lines for the overall composition. Signed and dated, 1930 in lower right. Measures apprx 11-1/2"H x 15-3/4"W, with frame, entire item measures apprx 14-1/2"H x 18-1/2"W. 2) River Scene. Oil on board, framed. Water scene depicts boats on a wide river sailing beneath a cloud filled sky. Palette is light. Signed and dated, 1932, on lower right. Measures apprx 13-1/2"H x 21"W. With painted wooden frame, entire item measures apprx 16-1/2"H x 24-1/2"W.
