Lot 66. Lake Scene. Oil on canvasboard, framed, signed "Mia" lower right. Scene depicts a simple shore structure and three boats on a lake. Painting technique is slightly impressionistic, with thin palette knife strokes over a linear compositional structure. Measures apprx 13-1/2"H x 18-3/4"W. In linen liner and carved wooden frame, entire item measures apprx 22"H x 27"W. Mia paintings were popularized during the 1970's by Wally Findlay Gallery in New York City.
