Lot 78. Landscape with birds. Oil on masonite, framed, signed and dated 1976 lower right, 15-1/2" x 23-1/4". Charming naive village scene depicts many birds engaged in such activities as pecking for food or roosting. This island landscape is populated by banana trees, coconut trees and prickly pairs. In wooden frame, entire item measures apprx 17-1/4"H x 25"W. Provenance: ex-coll of a Museum of Modern Art curator.
