Lot 19. Oil on panel of a soldier showing compassion for a wounded man, after a battle. Another casualty is seen at the right. Painting is framed and signed "Wenthworth" on the lower right corner. On verso the panel is cradled, and there is an an inventory sticker. It measures apprx 21" x 25-1/2" image size and 26" x 30-1/2" overall.
