Lot 23. Possibly "La Rue de Chavelier de la Barre et la Sacre Coeur". Oil on canvas depicts a cafe scene, with many people gathered beneath colorful umbrellas. Several buildings are visible in the background. This painting is signed on stretcher in pencil "M. Legendre", however not signed on canvas. The colors in this painting are vibrant and include brilliant shades of red, green, yellow and blue. Canvas measures apprx 16" H x 20" W. With ornately carved, gold-painted frame this piece measures apprx 21" H x 25" W.
