Lot 112. "Still Life with White Flowers", oil on canvas, signed lower right, canvas apprx 23-1/2" x 21-1/2", overall with frame apprx 30" x 28". A somewhat impressionistic style painting with muted tones of yellows, beige and and undertones of olive. Alexander Pogrebinsky was born in Kiev. He spent his youth in the Ukraine studying painting, sculpture and drawing. In 1990 Pogrebinsky moved with his family to the United States.
