Lot 84. A riverside landscape. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower left corner, framed in a wide contemporary silver-tone frame, 9" x 12" canvas size, with framing overall 12-1/2" x 15-1/2". A softly painted summer scene with a mother and a child walking by a riverbank. A boat is seen tied on shore and there is an indication of sailing activity on the far shore and a hill in the distance. The bright and fresh sunlight is the signature composition for Gisson's work. "Reproduction Rights Reserved by the Artist" is stamped on the back of the canvas. A typed descriptive piece about the artist is also affixed to the back of the frame.
