Lot 32. Lot of two oils on board, framed. Paintings after the manner of August Hagbourg (ca. 1829-1898). Both depict a figure on the edge of the sea with instruments of his or her ocean-trade. "Iman" carries loaded baskets of fish, he wears clogs and a fur lined cap. "Girl on the Beach" carries her net repair hook and a basket of her mending. Each is signed " L. Pernett" in lower right corner. Each measures apprx 12" x 8". With distressed gold painted frame, each item measures apprx 16-3/4" x 12-3/4".
