Lot 94. Painted collage of a figure on a horse by Ohio artist, Richard Chiara. Collage-style painting is composed of brilliant reds, blues and greens as well as muted shades of orange and brown. Tag on verso identifies this piece as "Gambada". A second tag from the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown identifies this from the 1967 mid-year show an indicates the work is entitled "Kimono Man" rather than "Gambada". Image measures apprx 16-1/2" x 14-1/2". Framed, this piece measures apprx 26" x 24".
