Lot 18. "Sair d'Automne". Beautiful full length portrait depicts a local French girl standing with a flower cart in the artists' garden terrace with a view of the Seine in the distance. Signed and dated Paris, 1921 in lower right corner, as well as back of stretcher. Measures apprx 45" x 34-1/2". Framed with simple, carved, light gold antiqued frame in an "Impressionist" finish. This painting has all of the features essential to the artist's work: beautiful young girl, colorful floral surroundings, romantic dreamy setting, large size format.
