Board measures approx. 12" x 16"; framed overall approx. 16-1/2" x 20-1/2." Bernard Lennon was born in Milton, Massachusetts, in 1914, and studied at The Massachusetts School of Art. He later lived and was active in New York City, and in Gaylordsville, Connecticut, where he mentored students in Contemporary Impressionism. September 2006 Fine Arts and Antiques Auction Lot 110. A pair of small oil paintings on masonite, each signed illegibly in the lower right, both framed, one 6" x 8", the other 8" x 6".
