Lot 169. An interior scene with clergymen blessing a lovely young woman. Watercolor on paper, inscribed "Ascenzi Roma 1900" in the lower right corner, framed under glass in an ornate bronzed frame, image size approx. 21" x 14", with frame overall 32" x 25". The clergyman is in a posture of blessing the young woman as older people happily look on. The attention to detail is extreme in the rendering of the people and the interior.
