Lot 171. A painting of a beautiful young lass amid flowering tree foliage. Watercolor on paper, initialed "H.H." and dated 1879 in the lower left corner, matted and framed under glass, sight size 17-1/3" x 13-1/2", with framing overall 25-1/4" x 20-1/4". A wonderfully painted composition, with a young lady in a brown dress with a blue ribbon tied in her white lace collar, gazing upward at a blossom and surrounded by leaves and flowers of a tree.
