John J. Enneking (American 1841- 1916)

Enneking was originally fom Ohio, studied and trained in Europe and received many awards at such prestigious expositions as the Paris 1900 Pan-American, Buffalo 1901 and the Pan-Pacific in San Fransico in 1915. He worked with the French landscape painters Charles Daubigny and Louis Eugene Boudin and became friends with Camille Corot and Jean Millet.
