Watercolor on paper, each signed in the lower right corner, one dated under the signature June 24, 1976 and titled "Winter Whaleback" on verso, the other dated August 13, '66 on verso. Both paintings are 12" x 16" paper size. As the "Winter Whaleback" painting depicts rocks and sea, and the other depicts rocks and sky, they make a good pair. The second is dated Aug. 14, 1969, and signed, dated and titled "Whale Back" "Looking down from the truck" on verso.
