Lot 81. Vladimir Ilich Lenin. Etching, signed A. Ovsiannikov within the image lower left, dated 1933. Not framed, image measures approx. 8-3/8" x 6-1/2"; overall paper measures approx. 14-1/4" x 12-1/4". Leonid Fedorovich Ovsiannikov was a professor at Leningrad Art Academy, famous Russian/Soviet graphic artist, a master of graphic portrait. His portraits of Lenin and Stalin are in the collections of Tretyakovskaya Gallery and Russian Museum.
