Lot 140. Still life with clock. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right hand corner, framed, 24" x 20", with frame overall 33" x 28". This lovely still life has an old-world flavor, including a pretty teacup and saucer on a piece of white lace, a teapot, a small globe in front of an open book, and the artist's signature device of a mantel clock in front of an unframed print tacked to a wall. Note the reflection of a window in the convex face of the clock.
