Lot 34. "Lady In A Sleigh". Oil on wood panel, no signature found, framed in an ornately formed gilt frame, with a nameplate on the lower edge, approx. panel size 12-1/4" x 8", with framing overall 16-3/4" x 12-3/4". Very careful attention to detail has been used in rendering this coquettishly smiling young beauty as she sits in her sleigh, including her fair and rosy face, her costume and her jewelry. In the distance other carriages and horses populate the snowy landscape. From a Shaker Heights Ohio estate.
