23. Janos Viski (Hungarian, 20th Century) "Cowboy", oil on canvas 30" x 40", signed lower right. Viski was born in Szokolya, Hungary and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts under Tividar Zemplenyi. Viski began to exhibit his paintings in 1913. He painted mainly animals and was interested in the problems of motion and form as well as the color effects of open air light. Teyral was a student at the Cleveland Institute of Art along with Henry Keller, and other Cleveland School artists.
