Untitled watercolor on paper. Unsigned, matted and framed, 15"h x 23"w image size. Ms. Mason has been identified as "Sybil Isabel Dorsett," the subject of the famous 1973 book by Flora Rheta Schreiber entitled "Sybil". She began undergoing therapy with psychiatrist Dr. Cornelia B. Wilbur in 1954 and was diagnosed as having 16 personalities by Dr. Wilbur in 1965.

A wonderful pair of watercolors titled in order, "Plunger gets well away and thinks he is in for a good thing...", "And so he is". The first of the pair shows Plunger riding fast, accompanied by his dogs. The next image show Plunger and his horse falling into a large mud-puddle. Both are titled in pencil lower left and signed "Phiz" lower right. Main figures drawn in pencil with watercolor on sketch pad paper. Image size apprx 10-1/4" x 7", framed with French mats. Not inspected out of frames. "Vixseboxse Art Galleries, Inc." tag on verso (Cleveland, Ohio).
