Quality Meiji period Ginbari (or foil backed) enameled vase. Fine patterned silver foil wrapped around a bronze body and the decoration in transparent enamels. Decorated with delicate Koi fish in orange and black. Teal/blue foil-backed ground that glows with color. Hint of seaweed in design. Unsigned, measures 3-1/2".
