Pastel on paper, framed, image size apprx 12" x 16". Bacher studied under Gustave Boulanger, Carolus-Duran and Jules-Joseph Lefebvre. His work can be found in the permanent collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art as well as the Fine Art Museum of San Fransico. He has been published in Schwabelweiss, (plate 18), Choice Etchings (London: Alexander Strahan, 1887),1879.
