65. French Sofa and Four Arm Chairs Carved crest rails, arm rests and legs, all with ancanthus leaves and beading. Sofa has four carved front legs, two carved rear legs. Four arm chairs lightly carved with floral design and leaves. Probably the original fabric. All the wood has gesso and probably gold leaf under metal leaf. Sofa: 45" x 29" x 74". 66. Five Piece Victorian Parlour Suite (19th Century) Black laquered set including sofa and four balloon-back parlour chairs. Each piece has brass beading down the front cabriole legs, around the back rests and around the front legs. Crests are ornately carved with flowers and berries. Each item also has a nice 2-3/4" x 2" oval insert of a courting couple on the crest. The sofa also has an oval insert, apprx 4-1/4" x 3", of two winged cupids. 67. A Pair of French Twin Beds, circa Early 1900's Both beds are twin size with inlaid marquetry, ormolu mounts and are apprx 72" long. The headboards have a brass crest and applied floral swags and are apprx 58" x 50. The rounded corners are applied with fluted brass mounts. 68. A French Carved Rosewood Bed Early 20th Century, carved and inlaid wood. Head board with fantastic geometric inlay, and carved crest with leaves and flowers. Sides have carved scrolls down to carved, upturned scrolled feet. Headboard is apprx 63" x 59". Footboard is apprx 63" x 37-1/2". The length of bed is apprx 77" and includes two carved side rails.
