Beautiful frosted design of birds in a thorn bush with berries. Pattern called "Aras" and is listed in "Lalique Glass, The Complete Cataloge For 1932" by Rene Lalique Et CIE, published by The Corning Museum of Glass and the Dover Publishing Co., NY., 1981. Apprx 9" tall and 10" wide at girth. Clear base and polished rim. Rim opening is apprx 2-1/2".

Unmarked and unsigned. Loose translation of poem: "a good beer, a happy word, chases all the crickets away".

Clear glass with a diamond optic pattern to the body. It has a ruffled edge with applied green reeding around the upper portion. Polished pontil on the bottom has Steuben Fleur De Lys acid mark and is identified as Steuben shape #6813. It dates from the early 20th Century and measures apprx 8-1/4"h x 8-1/4"d.
