263. Japanese Erotic Scroll
Twelve stenciled and hand colored images on fabric with a woven patterned fabric overlay, all on paper. Each image is apprx 7-3/4" x 6-1/2", scroll measures apprx 15' and is attached to a wooden dowl. The finishing end has a striped fabric with a machine made wrapping cord with a small bone(?) attachment. Early to mid 20th Century.

264. Chinese Laquer Box, Early 1900's
Red lacquer box, apprx 11" x 6" x 6-1/4". Hand painted scenes on all sides in gold and black paint. The rectangular top with a scene of pavillions in a forested landscape, within rounded borders, containing woven panels. Several Chinese letters painted on three clouds. Brass hinges and lock plate. Torn paper tag on front, verso inscribed "China".

265. Satsuma Jar, 19th Century
Apprx 8-1/2" tall with lid, decorated with dark blue, rust red, greens and black glazes and gold. Ivory background with small crazing is slightly yellowed, six sides each decorated with potted flowers and bamboo. Stands on six small feet and marked with a blue "Mon" with three characters in gold. The interior and rim of jar is not glazed, nor the rim of the lid.

Brass cast body and copper riveted bottom. Two sided image of two dragons over the sea, border consists of baby dragons, flowers and animal heads. Lipped rim and convex interior base. Soft edges and and marks depicting use and age. Used for coals to heat a medium sized room.<br>13" tall and 16" wide.

267. Six Panel Cloissonne Screen, 20th Century
Six panels, each apprx 72" x 17-1/2" x 1-1/4", each adjoined by a hinge and pin. Twelve cloissone disks, apprx 12" diameter, mostly of flowers, however nice Koi, Crane, Butterflies and birds as well. Black laquered panels decorated with Bats, Dragons and flowers. Verso stenciled with flowers in gold. Each panel is numbered and the feet are capped in metal. Early-mid 20th century.
