Greek lettering inscribed along the the gilt rim of the ceremonial chalice with lid. Overall, apprx 17" x 7" at base. Hammered and chased low grade silver/tin(?) Some details picked out in gilt. Decorated with angels and bearded holy men with a scroll. Base has two images of animals, a two-headed bird and an angel holding a book as well as the same bearded holy man holding a book. Tapered panel base decorated with flowers comprised of seven pieces. Center piece decorated with twelve glass gems. Dated on rim 1760.
