Three piece set with a Moorish/Orientalist motif. With English hallmarks, creamer and sugar with gold wash interior, dated 1856 with "EJ", (Edward Jones). Teapot with English hallmarks and dated 1846-47, "Sheffield, WW and JH", White and Henderson and Company. Teapot has bone detail approx height 8-1/2". Creamer approx. height 6-1/2". Sugar approx. height 5-1/2". All three not monogrammed.

Sterling silver service for twelve in the famous "King Edward" pattern, not monogrammed. Items include: eleven 7" dinner forks, twelve 6-1/4" salad forks, eighteen 5-1/5" cocktail forks, twelve 9" modern/hollow dinner knives, twelve 5-3/4" flat butter knives, twelve 6-1/4" round soup spoons and thirteen 6" teaspoons. Matching serving pieces include: three 8" serving spoons, a two piece carving set including 10-1/4", two ladles 5-1/4" & 6-1/4", one fish knife 6-3/4", two master butter knives 6", cheese servers 6 1/2", one 9-7/8" pie server, two 8" serving forks, a fluted 8-1/2" serving spoon, and a pierced 7-1/2" tomato server.

Sheffield silver plate single spout urn, bowl form on squared base, gadroon rims and lions feet with foliate details. Handles with acorn motif and acanthus leaves. Silver family crest, "Semper Vigilans" with a lion. Includes burner insulator. Apprx 18"H x 14"W from handles.

Sheffield silver plate, both have cornicopia handles and engraved crests and coats of arms proclaiming the original owner's heritage; an armoured arm holding a branch, a wild boar and a lion. Vertical reeding on the lower half and gadroon rims. On verso a stamped "B" and stamped numbers "3" on one and "4" on the other, both on base rim. Fitted with a flat collar over the top covering the cavity between the exterior wall and a fitted interior canister, providing space for packing crushed ice separate from the bottle. Apprx 9-1/4" H x 10" wide at handles.

Black ebony, carved of scalloped and curved form. Two gold knobed lidded wood containers insert at left and right. Molded glass center inkwell with a gold lid and rose gold medallion of a horse with a grape vine. Hallmarks imprinted on rim and on underside of lid of glass well: king's head, lion passant, q and bare leopards head. Makers initials under lid "A.D". Apprx size 7" x 11-1/2".

Sterling silver double standish with pen well, molded glass inkwells with silver lids. Four pointed feet, stand peaks at back. Not monogrammed. Walker & Hall Sheffield imprint on bottom and numbered 51464, & 39, trademark on bottom, on surface and base of inkwells, also on inkwell caps and underside of lids. Apprx size 5-1/2" x 10".

Elkington & Co. silver plate oval shaped barrel with bone knob. Lion head handles with rings and four ornamental feet. Trademark and stamp on bottom and numbered 11501. Apprx size 6-1/2"l x 5-1/2"h x 4-1/2"w. Elkington was the supplier of flatware to the luxury dining sections on board the Titanic and other ships in the White Star Line fleet. They were the originators of silver-plating and begain their research in times of the industrial revolution. By the 1830's they had patented their processes and 1840 saw the technique of electro-plating brought to perfection.
